“Fashion Dash” game is all about fashion as you have guessed, for sure. This game turns the player into a last-minute formal wear producer, working at the Dinertown shop of her friend Flo. The story tells that she used to work at a dance TV show which have been cancelled, leaving her out of job and with tons of fabric with which they paid her the last check. That’s when she started working at Flo’s diner as a waitress. While working there, it turns out that there’s quite a demand for last-minute formal wear among the customers. With Flo’s help, and all the fabric she got from the previous job, our protagonist opens her first shop, and you’ll have to help her a lot!
So the game develops in the new shop where you have to serve customers as soon as you can. If you let them wait too long, you might lose them losing points at the same time. When receiving customers, you have to take into account their characteristics avoiding, for example, to sit quite customers near from noisy ones. When a customer arrives you have to give him a free booth.
The first thing to do is to take the orders from customers. To do that you have to bring a catalog to them and, after a little while, click on the proper booth to take the order. When you have the order the next thing to do is to deliver clothing, clicking on the garment and clicking on the correct customer. When the customer is satisfied is time to get paid, clicking on the customer. When you sale is finished it is cleaning time, picking up the empty hangers and drop them off in the hanger station.
There are some extra ways to keep your customers happy. You can give advice to them when they ask for it, you can serve drinks to them, you can turn the stereo on, you can bring a hand bag to them if required, you can speak to them on the phone when they call, offer some piece of jewelry or a pair of shoes, etc.
There are several customer types you have to take into account. Let’s learn a bit about them: Young woman: Moderate order speed and dressing; Young man: Quick order speed and dressing; Granny: Slow order speed and dressing; Guitar girls: moderate order speed but quick dressing; Gentleman: Slow order speed; Starlet: moderate order speed but slow dressing; Hipster: very fast order speed and dressing; Heiress: moderate order speed; Businessman: very fast order speed and dressing; Tennis Player: fast order speed and dressing.
When you enter the game, you’ll be reaching the Main Menu, with the following options:
- Story mode: you’ll be asked for a player name, presented to the story introduction, and then, you’ll start playing.
- Endless shift: there’s no levels or background story. You just play as long as you can.
- How to Play: view the card-style help.
- Options: View game options and adjust settings, such as sound volume, and music volume.
